This example was interesting because the image has been edited to seem vintage which creates a cool effect and ties in the vintage font and colour palette

I like the bold eye-catching image on this magazine cover and the yellow stands out

I like the simplicity of this image with the gradient background and bright colours.

I liked the image on this because it is different to the usual studio shot on the front of magazines so it is more interesting to look at.

I like the colour palette of this because the monochrome image is contrasted by the bold red words.

I like how colourful this cover is with the headlines being in different colours.

 

PREVIOUS NEA EXAMPLES INSPIRATION

I like this contents page from previous NEA examples, because it has a lot going on and there is lots of layers of images which have been edited to make it look more interesting. I like the use of stickers to create the old fashioned Hollywood effect that they were trying to achieve.

In this cover, I like the use of there black and white with the pop of colour in the writing. It makes it eye catching and also looks quite sophisticated. I also like the layout and the placement of the headlines.

I really like the colour palette of this cover and the image is unique. The fonts also work very well with each other.

I like how eye catching this website is, with the bold colours and the repeated image

 

CHOSEN BRIEF AND EXPLANATION

 

I have chosen Brief 3 Magazines and Online because I enjoy using photoshop and I will be able to demonstrate my skills on my magazine. I also love music and I will be able to tie this into the magazine design.

PAST WORK

 

This short music video was a chance for me to practice using iMovie to create a short clip for Lil Nas X 'Sun Goes Down'. I didn't enjoy filming the footage and found it difficult to edit the clips into an exciting and smooth music video. This helped me to realise that I won't want to make a music video but it was a good experience.

I enjoyed making this magazine cover, as I was able to experiment with different fonts and layouts on Photoshop. I like the image I have used and the colour palette however to improve it i would make the quality better and maybe add more text or icons.

 I really enjoyed using canva to make this marketing pitch, as I was able to try different styles and layouts. I really like the colours I have used and the bubbly design using the circles. To improve I could have added more pictures of Emma Chamberlain and the products.
